After much procrastination, I have finally conceded to the powers that be and decided to start blogging.  It's not that I didn't enjoy the idea of writing and sharing some of my wonderful client experiences, but rather the idea of another committment that delayed my entry into the blog world.  That said, let's get to blogging!

I thought I would use this first blog to tell you a little about myself, and Nancy Jo Photography.  

I am a forty something year old Mom to a wonderful son, a spoiled standard poodle and an old greying beagle.  In addition, I am wife and best friend to a wonderful man named Nick.  Here we are, all five of us.....

Truly, my family is the most interesting part of my life.  However, with regard to my other loves and such....
I love Mexican food, a good book, movies, a nice glass of cabernet, swimming or floating in a lake, and of course.... my work!

Photography is truly our passion here at Nancy Jo Photography!  We love newborn photography, with those sweet new babies!  We love child photography, which keeps us fit and active and always entertained!  We love family photography, capturing the special moments that make each family unique.  We love wedding photography!  Who doesn't love a wedding..... romance, a few tears, lots of laughter, and food and drink.  We love high school senior photography!  They always push us to ensure that each session is unique, creative and individualized!

We moved the studio from Henderson, NC to Wake Forest, NC in March of 2014.  While we miss our old friends, we have fell in love with the Wake Forest and North Raleigh area!  And.... blush.... it appears that the feeling may be mutual.  Just six months after opening, we were nominated and won Wake Weekly's Best of the Best Photographer!  What a fantastic honor, and we are so very appreciative of the reception we've received.

Mind you, it is certainly not all due to me.  I have wonderful helpers.  Miss Cherie and Miss Brittanie keep the studio running smoothly.  Miss Jenny, a wonderful photographer as well, helps when one camera is just not enough.

At Nancy Jo Photography, we believe the service we provide is extremely personal.  Thus, we get personal too.  Clients become friends.  We watch children grow from newborns to toddlers and beyond.  We share in the most important days in your life, and get to know the most important people in your life.  We never forget that photographing you and your loved ones is an honor.

We are honored to be a part of the Wake Forest and Raleigh communities and hope to be able to serve you for many years to come!  Thanks for having us!
